They are from Jonesboro and Riverdale.
Still a little mad about his burn ban on the weekends.
And I hope that's where it ends, but people who do those kind of things often repeat the behavior in other places. I for one would not care to find that such occurred here, even if on a small scale.

The two times I written to Micheal Edmondson he has done nothing but give excuses why he can not work on the problem of stopping the speeders through the residential area. I'm told that speed bumps can not be used on county roads.....well what are those thing call around the sports field at the community center in lovejoy????

It's against the law for a three way intersection to have three "Stop Signs"....take a look around the county...there are many intersections that are three way stops.

I need to be convinced that Micheal cares about the people who voted for him.
I suspect if the Federal Government continues to dig into the case and follow leads it will be in the former Mayors lap. I suspect that is where the money trail will lead.
An article in the News Daily, reads that she WAS a chaplain in the sheriff's office but there is no indication as what action was taken that brought that about, if indeed she is no longer employed.
Recent news coverage of the federal indictment of a former Atlanta city employee, who is presently an employee of our Sheriff's Office, is not good. Not for that person, nor others involved in the case, and certainly not for our county. I would not dare to speculate about what this person's actions may or may not have been upon being hired by our sheriff- but it doesn't look good for her to remain on staff. Certainly this person is innocent until proven guilty, but I cannot help but wonder if what has been alleged to happen in Atlanta is in some way now in our midst. For our sakes I hope that if she did commit the crimes she is accused of, that she discontinued such before arriving here. What, if any, action has our sheriff taken regarding this person's employment status? There has been nothing in the media to suggest termination, forced or voluntary leave of absence, suspension, or at minimum an in house investigation being initiated. I cannot help but wonder where this might end up going.
Elections are coming up May 22.  It looks like a lot of folks have competition (especially Michael Edmondson).  Here is a link of the qualifiers:
